I applied for a few IT roles at the company, I felt like I’d be a good fit with my experience. I received a email from a recruiter to set up an interview with another recruiter to discuss one of the positions a week in advance. The recruiter called and asked quite a few questions, I’m not sure if this is done for everyone or purposely to cancel me out. I saw asked why I wanted to work here and said that I knew someone who worked there who had a good experience, they then asked “do they work in the stores or corporate?” I think aldi needs to work on their DEI practices and do better training their recruiters. As a POC I don’t think they are very EOE. This was my third time trying to interview with them.
