ALDI Stock Assistant interview questions

I received an email stating the time and location of my interview. When I arrived at the store I spoke to an ALDI employee and informed him that I had come for an interview. He looked rather confused and replied that the manager was not expecting me. I was then told to wait in the store until the manager was free to see me. After a wait of twenty minutes a young man invited me into the office. He preceded to ask me why I applied for the role and why I wanted to work for ALDI. and what did I regard as being good customer service? He stated at one point that all ALDI'S products were own brand until I informed him that the kellogs cornflakes on the shelf were not an ALDI's product. He was not prepared to conduct the interview and he displayed a lack of knowledge regarding the store. This made the company seem rather amateurish to say the least.
