I had applied online which took about 20 minutes to fill out and was contacted two weeks after to schedule an interview. The interview was relatively short and took place in the back room with two managers. They asked me a few questions about what I did in school, and it was very conversational. They also asked What I think about the importance of a clean facility and What is my favourite movie. It was a fairly easy interview and I got the job within a week.

How are you with customer service and problem solving angry customers? It wasnt bad, a lot of what would you do if type questions. I got the job eventually. And it was my favorite.

Process is fairly easy. If they're interested in your online application, they do a phone screening. If you do well on that one, they call you in to do an interview for the specific theater. Most of the questions are personality based. They do have you have you pitch AMC Stubs just to get a feel of how you'd present it to customers. Not sure why someone said people get hired on the spot as I never came across a crew member that got hired immediately, even if they were short staffed. Typically it takes a couple days before they give you a response.
