I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Phoenix, AZ) in Jul 2013
Interview
It is the job of an HR Coordinator to identify candidates who meet the following criteria:
*Motivated, a willpower to exceed expectations.
*Sales-driven, selling AMC Stubs is a big part of the box office position.
*Intellectual, the employee will represent the professionalism of AMC.
*Collected, any candidate who displays an inability to remain calm during stressful situations will most likely not be able to handle the busy nights.
------------------------
It is a 1-part interview typically, and if they think you show potential, they will ask you to sell them a Stubs card. Whether you pass or fail, they will still tell you they will call you with an answer. I waited 4 days to be called, so chill out if it takes some time.
And just to point out, to clarify any rumors, AMC Theatres DOES NOT perform a pre-employment drug screen.
