I applied online. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment
Interview
It was a one-on-one with someone and she conducted the interview and took notes to share with the rest of the people making the hiring decision. There were other people there for an interview when I arrived and when I left. She asked me to sell the AMC membership to her and I forgot one of the benefits because I got nervous for some reason. Make sure you know the rewards program really well and practice selling it before the interview.

Process is fairly easy. If they're interested in your online application, they do a phone screening. If you do well on that one, they call you in to do an interview for the specific theater. Most of the questions are personality based. They do have you have you pitch AMC Stubs just to get a feel of how you'd present it to customers. Not sure why someone said people get hired on the spot as I never came across a crew member that got hired immediately, even if they were short staffed. Typically it takes a couple days before they give you a response.
