I had a brief, very surface-level phone interview with a recruiter. Following that, he immediately sent an analytical skills assessment and a personality assessment. After that, I was invited for an in person interview. I was to meet with two managers (including the hiring manager), and then the head of the department. The interview was short (about 40 minutes). They asked some basic questions abut my resume and experience. Once again, the questions were fairly surface-level (no behavioral questions). While waiting for my second interview, the recruiter (who did not participate in any interview) came out to tell me that the interviewer was too busy and wouldn't be able to meet, so he sent me home. I was not offered a tour of the office. The meeting room was right up front, so I did not get to see any workspaces. I had to ask the front desk worker for a bottle of water that I saw in the refrigerator. I was told that I'd hear back early the following week (this was a Thursday). Fast forward three weeks and an email to the recruiter, and I have yet to hear back. The whole process was surprising to me, as I expected more from a company achieving "great place to work" status.
