The phone screen was to learn my background in machine learning and large language models. In my second interview, I had to answer questions about my research and the basics of machine learning. In the third interview, I had to propose a solution for a machine learning problem. In the final interview with the manager, I had to describe my research. There was no coding in any of the rounds.
