I interviewed at ASDA (Royal Tunbridge Wells, England)
Interview
I applied online and was called the next day. I went into the store and was almost immediately offered a job, only being asked my age and whether I had a valid driving license.
Asda delivery drivers report for shifts to perform vehicle checks and receive pre-loaded vans. They follow optimized routes, providing friendly doorstep service to approximately 20 customers per shift. The role emphasizes efficiency, safety, and high-quality customer interaction throughout every delivery.
You get sat down in a room, and asked very basic knowledge questions. Such as have you driven a van before, how is your customer service, what days can you work etc.
Group. Discussed drivers license, test in van for basic manourverung skills for about 20mins. 1 to 1 discussion and then trial shift. Friendly interviewers and colleagues to support. As long as competent driver okay interview.
