ASML Design Engineer I interview questions

Lengthy and multiple days with many people. There was a in-house day and invited lot of candidate and short listed few through multiple round one to one talk with many people.

I applied in the group of Overlay and Focus. After selected for my CV and letter, I had a 1h telephone interview with a group leader and a project manager. Although I stated that I did not have previous experience since I was completing my PhD, they invited me for a 4h interview with 6 different persons (the HR was barely able to speak English). Two days before the interview they told me I had to do an online assessment (quite a short notice...) After the interview they were supposed to call me within the week, but they did not. After several days I called and they told me that I had a perfect matching with the company, a great understanding of what I would have done, but no experience (in principle they should have known it from my CV). They did not even reimbourse my travel. Very very poorly organized company, though they do interesting things.
