I went through four HireVue (online) interviews for an ASML internship, only to be ghosted afterward. Eventually, an HR representative reached out to me about a position and provided a tentative interview schedule. However, as the interview date approached, I still hadn’t received a Teams link or a confirmed schedule. When I contacted HR two days before the interview, they informed me that the position was no longer hiring.
This experience felt unprofessional and disorganized. Clear and timely communication is critical, especially for a company of ASML’s reputation. Being notified earlier about such decisions would have saved time and frustration for everyone involved.
It was fast. I applied through the website. After about two weeks, I got a HireView invite. A few days after completing it, there was a Zoom interview with my manager, and everything went smoothly.
