The interview process was 4 interviews total over the course of a month. The first interview was with the manager overseeing the position, and was mostly an informal chat to talk more about some of my experience listed on my resume and to make sure I understood what the role entailed. The second interview was with the same manager and the unit director. The third interview was a panel interview with the manager and director of the unit, plus a manager and director from the unit the person in the role would work very closely with. The final interview was with the unit director and manager, along with the VP overseeing National Field Response. The interview process was long, but not inappropriate for a role within a team that handles disaster response and animal cruelty operations. The interviewers along the way were all warm, extremely friendly and excited to get to know me, and I genuinely enjoyed every single interview. When I was offered the position and accepted, I went in feeling really well prepared for what to expect from how thorough and open the interviewers were.
