I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Farmers Branch, TX) in Aug 2016
Interview
Applied online and took an assessment for the Customer Service Rep job at the Call Center. Got an email the next day saying I passed the assessment and that I had the potential to work for the position. Had a phone interview & after that was scheduled to come in for a face to face interview. The lady who did my interview was a nice lady and we talk for an hour and a half about the job and school and ATT in general.
If you were offered 2 of the exact same jobs, but 1 paid $17 an hour and the other paid $12 an hour but offered the opportunity for bonuses, which one would you choose and why.
The interview consisted primarily of sample inbound calls. While the position is a customer service one, the goal was to sell products for the company. They want to see how you can turn a call into a new sale or an upsale.

Question 1
How would you handle a call from a roommate who wanted to cancel service?
You may apply online and may receive an email to schedule a phone interview. With one of their human resource agents. It may be a third-party conpany until you pass a preliminary interview and advance to the next stage. The interview was brief and straightforward and one may be hired on the spot.
Just like having a conversation. Basically asked about availability, working with others and independently, handling difficult customers and difficult situations, also how would you handle overcoming objection with sales and would that be a problem for you.
