The interview process was extensive: a first initial application and resume, phone interview, grammar/writing test, writing sample submission, an in-person group interview, and then a second formal application "in case [they] choose to extend an offer." Upon arrival for my interview, I found the office building locked with a call box. There wasn't a receptionist available at the front desk, the interviewer's name wasn't listed in the call box, and there weren't any instructions provided for access. The president of the company wanted to be present for my interview but wasn't available, so I sat waiting for approximately 45 minutes. The group interview was then an additional approximately 90 minutes with the most stereotypical, drab questions I didn't know anybody actually asked. They promised to get back to me with a decision by the end of the week but then ghosted. They didn't take any followup calls or return an email. I fear they may have requested my previous supervisor's contact information with the second app for their sales team. The experience was highly unprofessional.
