Arrived and waited in receiving area for about 20-30 minutes after we were set to start. Folks were professional and courteous while I was waiting. Went into a room to have technical interview then had a series of high level discussions with 3 Managers. None of which were challenging. Interview was easy, but it became clear the Hiring Manager did not have any idea how to solve the problem he was looking to solve and we began to discuss (argue?) about the approach. I believe because of my experience and that he had no ground to stand on, he must have felt like I could do his job and the feedback was that they will pass (without any relevant feedback). I was polite and courteous and professional, but the approach they were taking was flawed and I pointed out why, with specific examples. Its painful to hear when companies decide to go down a road I have been down and they are not open to listening or looking at other winning approaches that companies like Google have taken.
