Interview
The interview process was fairly standard COVID-19. I was informed that they wanted to fill the full-time position rather quickly. I had an initial 30 minute phone interview and 3 additional 30-45 minute interviews with the team which included a second phone interview and 2 video calls for a total of 4 interviews.
In the initial interview I was assured I'd be kept up-to-date with wether I was going to move forward or not and why. Unlike interviews elsewhere, there was never any follow-ups from the hiring manager setting next-step expectations. I'd just have to wait for an email or a phone call days later.
A few days after the fourth interview I followed up with no reply. A week and a half after the last interview I received an email asking to chat. The hiring manager glazed over the position I had applied for with no explanation other than the time it took to say 'we filled that role through another process' and then asked if I wanted to freelance and become part of their 'freelance pool'.

Had two interviews. The first was with CD and ACD in their office and was often interrupted. Challenge was to keep their attention on my skills/accomplishments. Second interview was with a panel, presenting my portfolio,during which they gave little reaction either positive or negative. Went away wondering how it went.
