I did the application at the store (it's on a computer). I was called to come in for an interview. I had a friend who worked at the store so she told me to wear jeans flip flops and a pink shirt, preferably from Abercrombie. I arrived about 10 minutes early and I was the only person there, but I was told the manager wasn't there yet. So I waited around for another half an hour and more interviewees began showing up. When the manager finally arrived she took all of us (5 other people) to be interviewed in a couch in the mall. She talked about herself and store policy, mostly about dress code. She mentioned how you aren't allowed to wear nail polish yet she had disgustingly chipped red nail polish on her toes. She looked at me and said "um yeah that eyeliner, um no you can't wear that." She was very unprofessional and rude. I felt confident in my interview because my friend had told me pretty much what all the questions were. They always ask a questions about diversity which is funny because they don't want diversity at all, we all know what Abercrombie employees look like. I never got a call, not even to say I didn't get the job. I was so put off by the manager that I was hoping not to get the job because I would have had to turn it down because of how rude she was.
