Interview
I had the opportunity to interview with several companies as I was evaluating the next step in my professional career. Absorb Software guided me through the smoothest, thorough, and most efficient recruiting process - hands down.
From the start, their HR talent partner was passionate about Absorb and genuinely interested in getting to know more about my professional background. After finding we were a match on both ends, she moved me quickly to the next round with the hiring director. Following each subsequent stage, she promptly called to ask for my feedback and what questions I had that she could help with. She stressed that this was a company that placed a priority on their people and it was evident this applied to candidates as well. All in all, I had five conversations over two short weeks which led to me accepting an offer.
This was a significant departure from my experience with a handful of other companies I was concurrently speaking with. In fact, I had seven conversations with another company I progressed deep into the interview process with. However, those seven touch points (over three months total!) were interrupted with weeks of inactivity and ambiguity leaving me wondering where I stood as a candidate. Conversely, each touch point with Absorb was clear and left me knowing where I was as well as what and when next steps would take place. In the end, it was clear Absorb was the home because of the people that "walked the walk" rather than just talk.
Thank you to the Absorb talent and business leaders for providing a world class experience!
