I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Absorb Software (Calgary, AB) in Nov 2020
Interview
This was a COVID-era interview, so it was conducted entirely remotely.
The HR team onboarding me was incredibly responsive, and candid about the opportunity and process that we would be walking through.
The interview process included a pre-screen with the HR representative, a 2:1 interview with the role's leadership (both direct, and one step up), and a third interview with two potential peers of the role.
Some of the questions were STARR based, but by and large the questions were conversational. There is a clearly a strong influence from the HR group on the form factor of the interviews which appears to ensure a consistent format - which I appreciated.

Question 1
Over the three interviews, most of the questions were strategy-based questions about the leadership of a client management group. These varied from my being elicited for examples of previous scenarios where team planning was required, down to longer two-way conversations about specific tooling and Calgary based proclivities.
The interview process was very thorough. I had multiple rounds of interviews and felt as though the communication back and forth was great and consistent. Lyndsay was great to work with and kept me updated and was there to answer questions I may have had during the process.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Absorb Software in Oct 2024
Interview
I applied online and a recruiter reached out to schedule a phone screen.
The phone screen was standard where I learned more about the role, was asked my salary expectations, we discussed my experience, and I was then able to ask some questions.
I was told that they were still doing phone screens and I would hear back within a week and a half. After that, there would be a project/presentation with a panel then another round with a hiring manager. After that, it would take about a week to make a decision.
A week after my phone screen I received and auto rejection email. I did appreciate the recruiter's time and transparency about the company's hiring process.

Interview
The interview process with Absorb was excellent. The Talent Acquisition partner I worked with was very transparent on the process and the role when it came to salary range and recruitment process. I was already knee-deep in interviews with other companies but the person I worked with at Absorb did a great job in communicating next steps and managing my expectations. Additionally, the talent partner made a compelling case as to why I should join Absorb. There were multiple stages during the interview process where I had the chance to interact with different individuals. I found this extremely valuable.
