The interview process overall was conducted well by the recruiter and hiring manager, the entire experience though fell down during my last interview with senior marketing leadership. The questions that were asked were unprofessional to say the least and gave me a sense of micromanagement and an aggressive style of leadership. I have never had leadership ask me to reveal specifics about my current company's revenue, specific traits of our proprietary ICP and GTM process. Those things are the 'secret sauce' of a company and interviewers, especially leadership, should know better and stay 'above the line'. There is a way of determining a candidates suitabilty for a role without putting them in a position where they are providing specific revenue details and what exactly their current customers think about their solutions.
I felt like I was being put into a position of sharing information that could be used as competitive intelligence instead of a better understanding of my capabilities or suitability for the role.
Overall, the people at the company seem great but marketing leadership needs to check themselves on interview strategies and tactics so that they embody the culture that the rest of Absorb seems to have. Needless to say, I opted out of the role after my last interview. Not a fit for me.
