Interview
I'm utterly disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of the recruiter I interacted with. First off, she cancelled our initial phone call, and then showed up 10 minutes late to the rescheduled one without apologizing. Her summary of the company was very shallow and gave me the impression she was reading off a script rather than having a meaningful conversation. The interaction lacked any personal touch and she came off as cold and robotic. In the end, she didn't even bother to follow up, despite my repeated attempts to reach out. This experience has soured my view of the company and left me questioning whether I'd ever want to be associated with them. It's unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on the company's standards.

Interview
Ghosted after the hiring screen.
Truly the coldest and detached HR screen I've ever had. The interviewer was notably disinterested from the get-go, and was reading from a script. She seemed incredibly unhappy. I answered all the questions, but they were the most basic things that I'm shocked a 20+ year-old company would even ask for a PMM role. The best companies I've interviewed for asked nuanced questions and made me want to work there. This interviewer seemed used to a more corporate by-the-book approach than I'd expect for a remote tech role. Unfortunate all around.
And on top of that, I was ghosted. A note to the company: if you truly aren't interested in a candidate, don't waste their time like this person wasted mine.
