Initially, I received a call in which I was asked my availability and if I was already working (my answer: open availability and not currently working). Then I was asked if I could come in for an interview. I scheduled the interview for the next day and waited for a manager for a couple of minutes to start the interview process. Overall, there were behavioral questions and situational questions.

Interview
took me to the training room in the back of the store and it was just me and one manager. The manager then conducted the interview. Afterward, I talked to the store manager and we talked about pay and he offered me the job.

Interview
Very straightforward and was similar to many other retail position interviews. More of a formality rather than a rigorous process. The interview experience was good. You understand what the position is typically before the process starts.

After sending in your application they will email you a link to conduct an online pre-interview done by a third party. If the company will alert Academy of your qualification level and if sufficient you will be asked to meet in-person for an interview with an Academy manager.
Pretty simple process and very basic interview questions.
