      Consulting Summer Analyst Interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Accenture (Notre Dame, IN) in Sep 2019

      Interview

I applied to Accenture through my university's career center. I dropped my resume at career fair and submitted the online application. First round interview was behavioral, in person at the career center. The interviewer happened to be passionated about diversity and inclusion, so we connected pretty well on that and had some good conversation outside of just interview questions (a time you resolved conflict with a coworker, why consulting/Accenture, greatest strength, pretty standard). Got notified that I could go on to the 2nd and 3rd interviews, which were on the same day about 20 minutes apart. Again in person at career center. 2nd interview was the case interview. It was one full page (front only) describing a company's current state and what areas they identified as areas of opportunity. Using those case study frameworks was key to those. The interviewer gave no indication whether I was doing a good job or not so I left feeling not so good about it. 3rd interview was basically a resume check; the interviewer had my resume and pointed to things and asked more about them. Also asked why Accenture. The interview process itself, as nerve-wracking as they always are, went pretty smoothly. The problem started after that third interview. We were told to expect an answer within two weeks. Two weeks came and went. One friend heard back 3 weeks after, another 4 weeks after, and I finally heard back 5 weeks after.

      Interview

Interviewer asked specifics about the deliverables/results of my past work. Interview started broad and become focused on a specific tech team in the Consulting department. Fully behavioral, but you should prep for it as a consultant even if you're an engineer.

      Interview

Behavioral questions, pretty general. Be prepared to answer questions about the company and have a general overview of its operations. Also, it is a phone call so you have to sound excited. I'd say schedule it earlier than later as well.
