Mostly on the previous work experience, challenges, how did you handle conflicts etc
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accuray (Guadalajara, Jalisco) in Jan 2019
Interview
I never really thought of putting a review but I found there was a recent review for the same office I applied to and figured I could lend a nod to that.
The interview consisted of talking to three or four people; mostly on the technical side, can't really remember at this time. Accuray wants to set up shop in Mexico and they wanted to start with a very select team of the best and the brightest according to them.
Half way through the process, I could tell what they really wanted: a team of cheap code monkeys e.g., programmers. I know because I have done it before, you can't start a business here without the right people which I tried to hint at during the process to no avail. I.e., they want a team of superstars however unbeknownst to them, if you don't choose carefully, you might end up with highly incompatible characters
With that in mind, I knew I required a huge guarantee for even considering starting a career with a company that, for all intents and purposes, can't see succeeding in Mexico for long because what I mentioned above. And thus, I was out.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accuray
Interview
Phone interview with internal recruiter, followed by project manager. Afterwards an in person interview with the whole team with a bunch of conceptual questions and a few algorithm coding questions where they expect you to write the code on paper.
