First interview with recruiter, then second interview with a Manager, and then a set of remote videoconference interviews with 3 Managers and a Team Lead. Interviews were okay and fun, no big deal, a way to know how they were structured and managed internally.
After all set of interviews feedback was that people were excited and that Accuray wanted to move forward with the process and shoot and offer to start. However, the process got hold and delayed for two months because they say they didn't find the right people to complete the initial team to starting operate. Then after two months of process and monitoring of it, I was said that the team was finally completed and that offers were to come during the week, but unsurprisingly there were no news, and after two more weeks I was finally explained by the recruiter that some positions were put on a hold, mine included. When asking if that meant that I was out of the process, then and only after inquiring for second time I was explained that Accuray had move forward with other candidates and I was discarded.
Bottom line, Accuray lacked of transparency and went for the shadowing and wandering behavior that some other reviews in Glassdoor showed. I hope it does not happen, but it makes me wonder how will it be its operation and retention process in Guadalajara, knowing that salaries are cheaper in comparison with US, and knowing they have a history of layoffs from time to time according to other comments in Glassdoor.
