I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ace Hardware (Alamo, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
After applying I got a phone call from the hiring manager and came in for an in-person interview. We went over my resume, my past experience with retail, and my hours. Being a seasoned retail employee in the past it was a really easy interview and I was in and out in about 20 minutes or less.
The process was super easy. It was only two steps with both being social meetings. The first was an over-the-phone interview that lasted around 10 minutes. Then a later in-person meeting that lasted about 15 minutes.
I researched the company, arrived early, answered technical and personal questions confidently, asked about daily work, thanked the interviewer, sent a follow-up email, and later received an offer for the position.

Interview
Asked the normal questions, and I thought it went well until I asked about if hired, asking for a day off that I had already planned. and a man behind me on the comment had to make a snard comment about it.
