Achievement First Resident Teacher interview questions

The interview process was swift and practical. Three phone interviews and one in person mock lesson. Many of the questions in the phone interview process were redundant, but it is ok to reuse your answers.

I had a phone interview and was then invited for a finalist/in person interview and demo day. Leading up to the demo day they provided me with a lesson plan template, and model lesson plan and a list of specific standards I could focus my lesson on. The week prior to the interview I spoke on the phone with someone in HR; they walked me through what my finalist day would look like and gave me feedback on the lesson. The day of the lesson I had a tour and had time to walk around the school and observe in classrooms before my interview/demo lesson. Throughout the entire process I felt very supported and I felt as though the staff and interview team was as excited to meet me as I was to meet them.
