I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism (Frisco, TX) in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview process was great. The interviewer was kind, engaging and had a passion for the team and the kiddos. I first reached out to an ABC Talent Advisor and expressed my interest on Linked in. She got back to me and we scheduled an interview the next day. She then went ahead and scheduled an interview with an OM at the location closest to me. I went for the interview and she asked some 'get to know me' questions about my career history and my passion to work with kids. It was a great conversational interview. Got my letter after 24 hours
I applied online. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism (Vernon Hills, IL) in Jan 2025
Interview
I haven't been excited about a job potential for some time. I got an email asking to schedule a interview. A few hours before I received an email to reschedule for later in the day. I waited, no call. I emailed to ask if we could reschedule since I never received a call. We rescheduled, again they asked to reschedule. Ten minutes before the new day 3 of reschedules they rescheduled AGAIN. I couldn't make the new schedule and as soon as I declined they said they filled the position. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing as this seems like a great company to work for.

Interview
I was really excited about this opportunity. I went through two interviews. The first interview online went really well. The woman I interviewed with was very friendly and explained the position thoroughly. She made it very comfortable and it lasted about 20-30 minutes. I was then scheduled for an in person interview at the center. I arrived 15 minutes early and once I was seated with whom I had my interview with, I felt pretty unwelcome. It seemed as though they didn’t want to be interviewing me and kind of just got right to the end. My interview only lasted about 10 minutes and the questions were kind of random. I left feeling like they just didn’t like the way I looked, so they didn’t bother with seeing if I’d be a good fit. I was disappointed, but now relieved I won’t feel uncomfortable in my workspace.
