I applied online. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2023
Interview
Applied through the job posting on Indeed, and then also via LinkedIn. Received a call from a recruiter. The conversation with the recruiter went well. Nothing negative about that call. Moved to the in-person interview which also went really well. Was told I "will hear back one way or another, by the end of the week". I emailed and text the same recruiter whom I spoke to on the phone, the middle of the following week inquiring about my status and did not receive a response. I emailed, called and text, the following week (two weeks from the in-person interview) and did not receive a response or call back. It was not until I forwarded all of my follow-up emails to the generic "contact us" recruiter link on their website that I received a response from the same recruiter that all of my emails went to her spam folder and that she didn't have an update but would reach out to the hiring manager and get back to me - this was at 4:30pm. I woke the next morning at 6am to an email saying they had filled the position.
The same position was re-posted 2 months later.

Interview
The recruiter was very rude and and the process was rushed and disingenuous. A day later received rejection email stating rejection was due to the role requiring more inter departmental collaboration experience. This was very strange feedback to provide seeing as my resume prominently contained this skill, and during my phone screen, I discussed my interdepartmental communication and collaboration up to regional level. I honestly felt she was annoyed with 2 questions I asked her....two. One that really set her off was me asking if there were any internal candidates. Luckily, this was only an extra interview or job prospect as I was already in the final stages with other orgs, but this experience turned me completely off from ever applying to any roles here. Recruiters should not be in recruiting if they are unable to check their bias, attitude, and impatience at the door.""
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism (Humble, TX) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interviewed for Operations Manager role. Had a genuine and engaging conversation with the Regional Director. Felt strong mutual connection and was told the timeline was 30 to 60 days. Received a generic HR rejection email with no feedback or acknowledgment of the conversation. For a company that values authenticity and connection in their culture the candidate experience did not reflect those values. Would have appreciated even brief personalized feedback after investing time preparing and interviewing.

Interview
1st round was a phone screen: went well. 2nd round was in-person at one of their sites: went well. 3rd round virtual with a VP: went well. I was told by the last interviewer that someone would reach out to me about next steps-there were no next steps. Unfortunately, I didn't get the gig. Their feedback: I didn't have partnership experience and I didn't use the STAR method in my interview. Overall, good interview experience.
