I applied online. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism (Plano, TX) in Aug 2024
Interview
Be prepared to answer what ABA or autism is - sometimes they frame it as what are those things “to you” (as in your take/experience) but they’re actually looking for clinical definitions. Interdisciplinary efficacy of ABA, science/data based, steering away from compliance based care (they’re an assent based clinic). Autism defined - be sure to mention it’s not really about higher or lower functioning, more so about greater or lesser need for resources in order to achieve as much independence/good quality of life as possible. It’s a processing and developmental disorder, not a deficit, etc.
