I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism (League City, TX) in Oct 2024
Interview
The recruiter - Aram Yu - was hands down amazing! Very friendly, informative and well organized.
The Operations Director that interviewed me - Kelsey Lippert - was equally as great! She was very tuned in, personable, informative and positive!
I loved how they incorporate hands on experience with a patient after the interview.
The best interview and onboarding experience I've ever had. I'm very excited to be part of the team, thank you!

Question 1
How would you describe ABA therapy in your own words?
I applied online. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism (Dallas-Fort Worth)
Interview
Very please recruiter follow-up after the site application page had been for a few days (had to keep checking back). Recruiter arranged for my onsite interview where the interviewer seemed completely disinterested in me. Took about ten minutes then shuffled me to the back to observe a tech with an actual client. I did this for 50 minutes, genuinely asking questions and participating as possible, before they told me I was done and that the recruiter would tell me next steps. Never heard back. Texted the recruiter (who had previously told me to feel free to do so), no response. Emailed the recruiter, no response. Disappointing experience for a company that is supposed to be dedicated to helping others.

Question 1
Asked if it would be difficult for me to be around young women who were "catty" all day.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview process began with a phone screening focused on discussing the role and reviewing my resume. While the interview itself was straightforward, the interviewer joined the call nearly 20 minutes late.
The next step was an in-person interview. During this time, the interviewer appeared frequently distracted, engaging in irrelevant conversations with people not participating in the interview and messaging others while I was speaking. I was only asked a few simple and easy questions. There were no behavioral/situational questions. Additionally, another individual entered the room mid-interview to do something. Though they apologized and told me to ignore them, it still felt distracting and disrespectful. I was informed in advance that the interview would last around one hour and include a facility tour as well as opportunities to observe and interact with children. However, the interview ended after about 20 minutes, and when I asked about interacting with the kids, I was told that this would not be happening that day.
Given my background in education and several years of experience working with young children, I felt I did not have a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate my skills or qualifications. I received a rejection the following day.
