First round was great. No issues at all. Met with HR and was immediately advanced to the hiring manager. This is where things went wrong. The second interview started with the hiring manager saying "The most important things to me are God and Family. I take them very seriously" I was shocked that the talk of religion was being brought into it right from the start. I immediately thought "this woman is not going to hire me because she can tell I am gay". I felt very pressured to talk about religion in the interview. It was highly inapprorpriate, and I believe it was discriminatory. I am sure they will have a million reasons why I didn't get the job, but I felt she disregarded me immediately because of this. Why do you bring up God in an interview when my religious beliefs have absolutely nothing to do with my ability to do the job? Discrimination at its best...and I can't do anything about it. I would not work here.
