I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Activision Blizzard (Santa Monica, CA) in Jul 2023
Interview
I was referred and received a call from a recruiter 2 days later. After speaking with the recruiter where they described the interview process and gave me a better understanding of the team, we then set up our first interview date. The first interview was with the hiring manager who did a great job giving me a feel for the kind of work that goes on in the team and asked some technical questions but mainly I believe was checking if I had the right background and was a good fit for the team. The second interview was with members of the team where they ask more technical questions related to the work I've done and how it relates to the work the team does. This was the most difficult interview but honesty is very important and the best place to showcase the work you've done. The final interview was with the VP and hiring manager. Everyone i spoke with were amazing people and really made me feel welcome. I ended up receiving an offer which i accepted shortly afterwards.
