I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Acuity Inc. (Decatur, GA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Spoke to VP of my engineering department, as well as a few engineering managers. All inquired about my previous design work. People asked about my process or objectives with design and my background to understand if I was a competent designer.
Various people explained how their divisions work and how my team worked (or how it might be dysfunctional).
There wasn't a whole lot of depth to the questions. Things were rather shallow.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Acuity Inc. (Decatur, GA) in Jan 2024
Interview
It started with a recruiter phone interview(30 mins), then a video interview with a hiring manager ( 75 mins). I was then invited for on-site panel interviews the following week at the Decatur facility, this lasted about 2 hours. I interviewed with 3 separate panels consisting of 2- 3 members each. (engineering managers, design team members, product managers, etc) We talked mostly about the items listed on my resume with some behavior questions added, there were not much technical questions. It was a somewhat relaxed interview session.
