I had a video call with an internal recruiter and another talent acquisition manager. The interviewer was very friendly and pleasant and my overall experience was positive. The second interviewer didn't speak much if at all. During the interview I was told that the hiring manager would be travelling for 2 weeks and there might be a slight delay with the process. About 2 weeks later, I followed up with the recruitment team to get an automated email saying that the person I had spoken with had left Adform. After a bit of chasing for some feedback I eventually got the following response "We regret to inform you that you have not been selected for further consideration for this process. Director made the decision based on the feedback received from your previous employer. Unfortunately, I’m not able to share the details of the feedback." Now I have to say, this feedback not only was shocking and disheartening, it was absolutely unfair if even illegal. I had never met their Director and I don't even know his name, I had never had a chance to speak with them, and I had never been asked to provide references. I only had a short screening call with the HR and I have absolutely no idea why HR would share this kind of feedback that has no grounds. Utterly unprofessional and disappointing. I would not apply with AdForm again.
