I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aditya Birla Group (Sindri, Jharkhand) in Dec 2019
Interview
It was a great experience personally. They created an environment in which interviewees could talk comfortably with the interviewer rather than a having a serious question answer session.
I was quite satisfied with my performance. Initially I was nervous as it was my first interview so I made a mistake , but the interviewer made me relax first and then answer it again. After that, the rest of the interview felt more like a regular day at hostel where I am discussing subjective topics with my friends.
Throughout I was confident about my answers as I had a good grip on the subjects which were asked. Although I had not been asked anything about the plant trainings and projects I personally felt the experience and knowledge which I had gained there had helped in the interview more than classroom teachings.
In my opinion one must have a thorough understanding of the course subjects as questions can be from anywhere. For questions which I was unsure about I honestly told him.
P.S. :- The interviewer starts observing from the GD round itself so make sure you leave a good impression from the very beginning.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Both the HR and technical rounds were combined. But I was mostly asked technical questions.
As I am a chemical engineer, I was asked about the reactors and some P&ID instruments. Apart from these, some basic questions from thermodynamics, heat transfer and mass transfer were also asked.
My HR round was comparatively short, where the interviewer talked about the working life of women in ABG. I was only asked about my future plans after college in the HR round.

Interview
it was good, informative panel is so calm and ready to listen. Focus on the core engineering subjects along with the industrial experience. Don't use the terms which might lead you to face more technicality if you want it straight and simple.

Interview
The interview process for an on-campus opportunity in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering typically involves three stages: Aptitude Round, where candidates solve logical, technical, or quantitative problems; Group Discussion Round, where communication skills, teamwork, and clarity of thought are assessed; and finally, the Personal Interview Round, which evaluates technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and personal attributes. Each stage helps gauge a candidate's suitability for the role.
