Seems Adobe wants people to do pro-bono consulting for them with HR who do not like to keep people updated of their candidature. Very poor way to treat candidates.
I was initially approached by them for the Value Consultant role. They give you a case study and 2 days to give the solution. You then present the case study and have an interview with two team members and are then interviewed by the Team head. I had cleared both rounds. The HR had communicated that I would be having the third round but then never scheduled it and did not have the courtesy to pick up my calls or inform me that it had gone on hold during this process.
After 2 weeks, the HR let me know that the role had gone on hold and that they wanted to interview me for the Digital Strategy Analyst role.
They again had me do a case study, I again presented it. I had cleared this round and I had another case study. Now the HR had sent me the wrong case study files (He did not send the right data points). I had somehow done my analysis of the case using third party data and sent my solution in a short time period.
After realizing his mistake, the HR sent me the correct files and I had to redo the case again and I again sent the files in a very short time period.
Now, the HR had told me they were looking to close this role that day and the HR had shared my files late with the business team and this candidature did not proceed further. Thus, I had wasted my time and potentially lost a offer because of poor HR.
