I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (London, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
Several rounds of interviews with 5 different people which seemed excessive. Perhaps a panel would have been less time consuming on both sides? I was asked once only across all 5 interviews about myself e.g. what I wanted to achieve in my career, what my passions were or what I wanted in a next role, which is worrying. The role was quite a senior position and interviews should be as much about the candidate finding out if the company is right for them, as what the candidate can do for the company. It all felt very one sided and as if I was continually being asked to convince them why I wanted to work for Adobe. Communication was slow but polite and the process ran over around 6 weeks. It wasn’t the worst interview experience but not the best either and certainly not what I would of expected from adobe. Outwardly it seems like a fun, fast moving company that cares about what their employees want but this process didn’t fill me with confidence that this was the case.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (San Jose, CA)
Interview
The interview process was extensive. I met with more than a dozen people over the course of four weeks. This is understandable given how highly-matrixed the company is, and makes sense understanding how the company operates.

Question 1
How experiences outside of tech could translate into working at Adobe?
The interview process was smooth and timely. There were no long periods where I didn't hear from the recruiter. The recruiter was very helpful throughout the entire process and called to check in every step of the way.
Strange process. Not given info as to what was expected or the process. Just had to rock up and see what happened. which is fine but not so great when you see what was asked...

They basically wanted me to detail a marketing plan for one of their business divisions (Adobe Stock photos), right off the bat, first interview, without any prior advice to prep anything.
