When I walked in, I signed in their books stating I was there. The owner's wife greeted me and she prepped a room where I had to take a skills test on journal entries. The journal entries test was fairly easy, but I made some mistakes since it has been awhile that I did journal entries. For me, the test took about 20 minutes to do even though the wife said I can take as much time as I needed. After the test, she talked (a lot) about the company (history, environment, duties, etc.). I had questions in hand, but she answered all of them when she talked about everything so I had nothing to ask her after she asked when if I had any questions for her. Then another guy came and talked about what my exact duties are and what to expect from day to day work. When he started talking, I asked him about the accounting aspects of it and he said that there would be none whatsoever and that my primary duty is to assist clients over the phone helping them out with our software. He also told me that if I were to leave and put the company on my resume, I would not have any accounting experience from it.
Overall, just listening to him, I became somewhat irritated because I was led to assume that this was an accounting position instead of a customer help position. The interview questions were the typical ones you hear and lasted for about an hour or so.
