I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at AdvancedMD
Interview
Went through a recruiter who got me through to the corporate recruiter who I had a 10-minute call with and said that I seem to fill the position and requirements and with my background in HCIT I would do great. Also, LinkedIn had me as a top 10 candidate out of the 100+ applicant online.
Went in and met with the VP of Sales. He was 15 minutes late to our 30-minute interview. Sales floor seemed like a boiler room atmosphere of all young guys, very little diversity. Total hostile interview from the start. Looked at my resume and kept asking me questions about it than asking about sales, processes, pipeline and the things the recruiter said that he would want to know. He said that I am not senior material that both recruiters had me interviewing for and said that I would not be a good fit. Then at the end, he did tell me that there are some lower level positions that are available that he will pass me along to.
Honestly, it seemed like the VP was tearing me down so that he could make me a lower offer to help fill these sales roles and grinding it out for a lower base on the boiler room sales floor. There was probably never a senior role available. Would not recommend unless you don't have experience.
