Walk-in Wednesday was stress-free with great communication and organization by staff running the event and those in passing at the hospital. I was lucky enough to be offered a position, however, even if I had not been it was an extremely pleasant experience.

Sent out over 70 applications over a span of 1 year finally receieved a email for PCT testing about 1 week after applying. Took the test scored very well and was told a recruiter would be in touch within 2 weeks. 3 weeks later on a Friday an HR rep called for a phone interview and asked me to submit for an online questionaire assessment and 4 references. On Tuesday of the following week I was called by HR for an in person interview which was scheduled for the following week Wednesday. After a 30 min interview with HR I was then walked over to the unit for interview with the Nurse leader another 30 mins. She also gave me a tour of the unit. 9 days later I was offered the position
