I applied online and was called by a recruiter asking me to complete an online IQ test. After completing it twice and regular follow-ups for over 2 weeks, I was sent a French Skills activity by email. Then, after another week, I finally had an interview with a manager. I felt like the manager had no questions prepared and she just went along according to my previous answers, very unprofessional. After the interview, I was told I had what it takes for the job.
After another 2-3 weeks and numerous follow-up emails with the recruiter, I was given any possible excuses as to why I hadn't had any feedback on my interview yet. I don't know how big their office building is, but the recruiter claimed she was unable to locate the manager I interviewed with for over 2 weeks. The recruiter also discussed salary and asked me to lower my expectations.
Suddenly, the job was posted online again, and I was sent an email saying they were moving forward with another candidate.
Not getting the job is fine, but leading candidates on for over a 1.5 month is just unacceptable - HEIGHTS of unprofessionalism!
