I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adyen (New York, NY) in Oct 2020
Interview

1 hr call to explain my motivations, talk salary expectations and relocation
Interviews where a conversation and I could meet team members and ask questions
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Adyen (Warsaw, Masovia) in May 2026
Interview
I was interviewed between May and June. First recruiter background interview - very basic, motivational, obviously. Not much info on next steps and the fact that the interview language will be different each stage. That is a bit off for a global company not to provide the candidate with a clear-cut rules of the road, especially that they boast about their openness.
Second round, an interview with "the team". Well, basic, cv-related questions, and some stuff about the formula, not much time to ask additional questions as the team member cut the call 2 minutes prior to the time. One guy present at the interview was in a role less than a year and was not able to reply with sense to any questions asked. The other lady was doing totally different role so not sure what was her role there. Feedback received was very random and it made clear the fact that they were picking up people based on their vibe. Skip if you consider this "startup" yadda yadda BS a waste of time!

Biographical, motivation, nothing more, a bit on Adyen formula.
I applied online. I interviewed at Adyen in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview process was well-structured initially, and the HR conversation created strong expectations around fit and progression.
However, after the second interview, the process ended with a standard rejection email and no personalized feedback, even after a follow-up request.
While I understand that companies cannot always provide detailed feedback, greater transparency and consistency between early-stage messaging and final communication would improve the candidate experience.
First interview with recruiter, Online(30m).
Second interview with Line manager, Online(30m)
