My interview process was as follows:
1. Recruiter
2. Hiring manager
3. panel interview
4. Case study & presentation
5. panel interview
It took around two months, and honestly, I ended up having a very negative experience. I received the following email:
"We’ve had a lot of interest in the role and, unfortunately, have already filled the position. However, we would like to keep your name and resume on file for future reference."
For any candidate who gets (or does not) to the final rounds of interviews, companies should at least put more effort into appreciating the candidate's time and building a better candidate experience. In my case, I participated in 5 out of 6 interviews, so please appreciate the time invested by each candidate, and represent the "Adyen formula" to each interview; so don't hide behind an email and pick up the phone.
Quality candidates want to join companies with a STRONG EMPLOYER BRAND, and you guys should apply your company values to your interview process and be more respectful with people's time.
