I applied in-person. I interviewed at Aegis Therapies (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2018
Interview
Uncomfortable, lack of information. Felt like a number rather than a skilled therapist. Was asked to work within many facilities. Was told they would rather use assistants than therapist.
Aegis had a simple interview with generalized questions about schedule availability and pay rate expectations. They asked a few questions about experience and mostly explained their company. There was minimal pressure and the company was open to negotiate.
Very casual and laid back interview. Conversation was more focused on my experiences and needs rather than formal interview questions. The DOR was very helpful and focused on building a good team environment. She seemed like a very supportive and understanding DOR.
3 phone interviews, usually around 15-45 minute for each one. First to get to know me, second to go over experience, third solidifying questions on pay expectations and more about the role
