I recently had an interview experience with AEI in San Francisco Overall, the process was professional and well-organized. However, there were some observations I'd like to share for the benefit of both future candidates and the company itself. Limited Opportunity to Showcase Expertise: One aspect of the interview experience that gave me pause was the perceived reluctance to discuss technical knowledge. While I understand the importance of balance in sharing information, there seemed to be a hesitation to delve into deeper discussions about my expertise. Potential Misalignment: It appeared that there might be a preference for candidates who align closely with the existing knowledge base within the company. This could inadvertently discourage candidates who bring fresh perspectives and diverse skill sets to the table. Final Thoughts: Overall, my interview experience with AEI was positive, but it left me with some reflections. I believe there's an opportunity for the company to foster a more inclusive environment where candidates feel encouraged to share their full range of expertise and experiences.
