Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union Member Advisor interview questions

The hiring process was typical - phone interview followed by in person interview. I was felt very good after the interview as it went well and the branch manager seemed very positive about my chances. By the end of the week I received a call from the branch manager who offered me the position. I thanked the manager for the opportunity and asked if I might have to the end of the day to consider the position, while I was anticipating the call from another job I had interviewed for a week and a half previous. She agreed that would be fine and to leave a message with my answer if she weren't there to answer. I called a few hours before the end of their work day and happily accepted the job over in a message to the manager's phone line as directed. I then went to talk to my current boss to let him know I'd be leaving my position a few days short of 2 weeks as the training for the member advisor I position began June 5. (She offered me the position May 26th.) Thankfully, my current boss was very understanding and said it wouldn't be a problem to leave short of a two week notice. An hour or so later, I received a call back from the AFFINITY branch's manager stating she received my message accepting the position but "I didn't sound excited enough about the position" and so she "was going to reconsider the offer" and let me know the following Tuesday after the holiday weekend. Unbelievably unprofessional management who toy with your career and ability to make a living. Today is that Tuesday and I just received a call from the branch manager stating she was going to continue with other candidates - she revoked the job offer. Unbelievable. Thank goodness for my current boss as he allowed me to revoke my two week notice. If not for that, I'd be without a job in two weeks. I plan on contacting her manager and/or corporate. That is no way to conduct a business and no way to treat people who need to make a living. I am honestly appalled.
