The entire interview was behavioral questions back to back "tell me about a time when..." on repeat. No real conversation about the role, the team, or what success even looks like in the position. Just a conveyor belt of situational prompts.
The tone was noticeably judgmental. Every answer I gave was met with a flat "okay, thanks for the run down." before moving to the next question. No follow-up, no engagement, nothing that suggested my responses were landing at all.
When I tried to ask questions about the team or the day-to-day, the answers were vague and deflective. It felt like they had no interest in actually selling the role - or in me. Hard to shake the feeling the decision was made before I even sat down.
