I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Affirm (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
Affirm moved fast!
Phases were: (1) phone screen (recruiter), (2) Take-home case study, (3) Phone case study review (hiring manager), (4) 5hr onsite (case studies, culture fit)
I felt like they were one of the most best companies I've interacted with in terms of respecting candidate time. They didn't waste time, stuck to the original timelines laid out, and only required one onsite.

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Affirm (Michigan City, MS) in Jul 2024
Interview
One call with an internal recruiter where I was asked to go over each experience in my resume one at a time.
I had applied over 5 months before I got this interview invite but the person I spoke with did not seem to know the exact role I had applied for.
The call also seemed like a routine call just to cover the basics and I was told that the notes would be passed to the hiring team.
Straight forward interview with the process being laid out for you by the recruiter in the first call. Very thorough. Talk through your relevant experience and any pertinent questions. Not much more to say.
