      Benefits Coordinator Interview

      May 23, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Santa Ana, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Santa Ana, CA) in Feb 2015

      Interview

Quite simple first interview is just a group presentation to familiarize the potential candidate about the company, the history, how well funded they are, what they do, and how it is beneficial to others. I had no idea what aflac was before this so it was interesting and I saw there is a need for this type of insurance. So after the first initial interview, well presentation you are asked if this is something you could see yourself selling? I said yes and then got set up for a second interview. It wasn't hard basically you meet with the regional sales coordinator and he asks mostly about you. They are seeking individuals who have overcame adversity and struggles in their past cause trust me your gonna have to be tough for this job. And if the shoe fits well your hired. you start classes get your license and background check at your expense then get issued a writing number and your good to go.

The interview process began with a group interview, where the team first presented an overview of Aflac through a PowerPoint presentation. After that, I was invited to move forward to the first-round interview. Overall, the atmosphere felt very relaxed, welcoming, and enjoyable, which made the experience much more comfortable and left me with a positive impression of the company.

The first round of the interview process was to confirm whether we were interested in the position. The hiring manager called 4 people into a zoom call to tell us about the job and did not take any questions. The next round is an individual one-on-one interview about my background.
