      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Agilent Technologies (Boulder, CO) in Aug 2019

      Interview

Overall, it took around 2 months from the day I applied to the day a decision was made about the position. To start, there was a phone screen with an Agilent recruiter followed by a phone call with the hiring manager. Next, there was a phone call with the other members of the team I'd be working with. Last, there was an onsite interview which included a panel interview with the team members and one-on-one interviews with the hiring manager, another manager in the same department, and the department head. The process was pretty long, but my recruitment specialist was very helpful with the whole process. There were a lot of very technical questions asked repeatedly throughout the interview process focusing mostly on my knowledge and experience with chromatography and mass spectroscopy since the position relies very heavily on those skills. Be prepared for a long hiring process and some very technical questions, depending on what position you apply for. They're pretty rigorous about selecting who they want to come work for them.

      Question 3

What effect do column length and system pressure have on separation in chromatography?

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Agilent Technologies (Frederick, CO)

      Interview

Four round in person interview. First with a different manager in the same department, then two middle rounds with multiple employees currently in the role, and finally with the manager that would be reported to. The interview leaned more towards technical questions than behavioral questions.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Agilent Technologies

      Interview

I received an interview scheduling request from an AI for a job that I did not apply. Well, I kept an open mind although there was a big time difference (US vs South east Asia). So I waited at 10 pm for a call and I received no call at all. Firstly, don't give false hope, that is not nice and professional. Secondly, check the hiring AI, there must be some glitches/bugs that need to be fixed. Thirdly, it would be helpful that if it is cancelled, inform the interviewee through the AI that the interview is cancelled. Luckily, the next day was my off day.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Nothing cuz they cancelled without telling interviewee
